South Tyrol Sustainability Seal

We have reached Level 2 of the Sustainability Label South Tyrol and for us, sustainability has become an integral part of our philosophy. We don’t just fulfil the criteria for Level 1, we also work on promoting equality and value diversity in our team by offering growth and training opportunities to all our employees. We support local producers, use regional products and support non-profit initiatives to strengthen the bond within the community. Every purchase is designed to be as efficient and eco-friendly as possible, prioritizing materials with eco-labels and free from harmful substances. We want to build a sustainable future together with you.

In South Tyrol a plaque is given to destinations and accommodation establishments actively committed to a sustainable future: the South Tyrol Sustainability Seal. Based upon the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) criteria, it gives recognition to entities in the tourism industry that ensure the protection of nature and people. Those people who, with concrete measures, tirelessly contribute to making South Tyrol a more sustainable place. The road to sustainability is long. There are, indeed, three Seal’s levels. Each level needs different criteria to be met. The third – which is the highest - corresponds to the GSTC certification and it is thus globally recognized.

Sustainable holidays

As the owners of a nature hotel, we believe we have the responsibility to preserve the mountain scenery around Nova Levante. Vegetables and meat from our farmers simply have the best taste. Whenever possible, we always use zero-kilometre products. Our central heating and hot water are supplied by the village’s heating plant, while our electricity comes from the district power plant. Thanks to the new mobility concept, you can feel free to leave your car parked during your holiday and use the new Laurin I and II cable cars to explore nature while also protecting it.
